Vanadium & alloy steels

High-speed steels, cast steels and high-chromium rolls hold alloying elements that a steelworks would otherwise buy as ferro-alloys at a much higher cost. We keep these grades segregated and identified, so they go back into the melt as alloy units instead of being lost in ordinary scrap.

Our EU desk supplies vanadium, chromium and niobium-bearing scrap, nickel and molybdenum-bearing grades, cast steel to SEW 520 and SEW 685, HSS grades and HiCr rolls to specialty steel mills and alloy producers. Each lot ships with its analysis.
