Rhenium

Rhenium is one of the rarest metals in the Earth’s crust. We supply it with its purity and form stated.
Rhenium is recovered as a by-product of molybdenum from copper ores, so supply is small and follows copper and molybdenum output rather than demand. Most of it goes into single-crystal nickel superalloys for jet-engine turbine blades; much of the rest into platinum-rhenium catalysts for refining.
Rhenium is supplied by both desks, US and EU: pellets, powder and bar, ammonium perrhenate, and rhenium-bearing superalloy material. Rhenium content is confirmed by assay before shipment.
